Generous serving of charity in Falkirk and Grangemouth

Burger lovers can tuck in and help charity tomorrow.

McDonald’s will celebrate the 25th anniversary of launching its charity link-up with Ronald McDonald House Charities by making a special donation,

Along with restaurants across the country, the Falkirk and Grangemouth burger bars with donate £1 for every transaction between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 25.

Staff from the Falkirk High Street, Central Retail Park and Grangemouth restaurants will also don fancy dress outfits to help raise awareness and cash during the fundraising hour.

Ronald McDonald House Charities provides free ‘home away from home’ accommodation for families with children in hospital. Last year over 7000 families were able to stay close to their children while they were inpatients.

Elliot Jardine, who owns seven restaurants in Scotland, including the local ones, said: “I’m incredibly proud of all the work McDonald’s has done with the charity for 25 years now. It’s great that we’re able to promote and support the fantastic work that the charity does to keep families together during difficult times.”
