Doctors, staff and volunteers at Forth Valley Royal Hospital have all be growing moustaches in the name of Movember.

A total of 12 men in the emergency department took part and Police Constable Steven Dodds, Dr George Olverman, Dr Jonny Lavey, Ciaran Callaghan, Rafael Tomas Amadoe, Roy Gordon, Dr Fraser Waterson and Gordon Devlin, decorated their whiskers with glitter and dye to mark the end of the month long campaign for the Movember Foundation to raise awareness of prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity.

Dr Fraser Waterson (29) said: “Some of us have grown pretty impressive moustaches! Family and friends and our female colleagues have supported us and donated to the charity. I think they’ve quite enjoyed the camaraderie between us all.”
