A grieving family will donate more than £600 to Falkirk FC in memory of their son who was tragically killed in a cycling accident.

The collection of £601.50 was gathered at the funeral last Saturday of Craig Tetsill from Camelon, who died when he hit his head on a pick-up van as he cycled to his digs after finishing work in Inverness-shire on Thursday, May 16.

Craig was a season ticket holder at Falkirk and his family want to give something back to the club he loved.

Dad Andrew said: “Alex Totten has been great and even came to the funeral. It was like the club supporting the supporter instead of the other way round. It was a very nice touch, Craig would have been pleased.

‘‘There was a massive turnout for Craig and the funeral was more like a celebration of his life, so we’d like to thank everyone who has helped us through this difficult time.”
