Falkirk Community Trust has been recognised as a market leader in providing healthier food by winning three prestigious awards.

Caterers Carol Cowie, of Bo’ness Recreation Centre, Lorraine McCann of Grangemouth Sports Complex and Juliet Sampson of Grangemouth Athletic Stadium were presented with certificates at the Healthy Living Awards in Edinburgh earlier this month.

The Healthy Living award rewards caterers for making it easier for their customers to eat healthily when eating out.

To achieve an award, caterers must meet certain criteria around the principles of a healthy balanced diet and put in place a strategy to encourage and support healthier eating.

Neil Brown, General Manager, Falkirk Community Trust, said: “Falkirk Community Trust is committed to encouraging and inspiring active lifestyles and healthy eating choices in all of our locations.”
