The whole family can step back in time at a fun event being held later this month.
Taking place in the grounds of Falkirk Trinity Church, formerly Falkirk Old and St Modan’s, just off the High Street, on Friday, June 27, it will mark the 700th anniversary of the Battle of Bannockburn.
It’s also the day that local schools break up for the summer holidays ... and what better way to get geared up for the holiday period than joining in the Faw Kirk Family Pageant.
Running from 1-4 p.m., activities on the day will include storytelling, a historical drama, a bodhran workshop, jousting, archery, crafts and an exhibition of birds of prey.
Refreshments will also be available for those who want to relax with a cuppa and take a break from all the historically-themed activities or enjoy watching others taking part.
