Falkirk’s Phones 4U store is to close permanently, the doomed retailer’s administrator has said.

The Howgate store, which employed seven people, will not re-open after closing last Monday following an announcement that Phones 4U had gone into administration.

Over the past week, administrator PwC has announced that some stores will be saved, including concession stores in Currys and PC World.

However, the Falkirk unit is among 362 stores to close across the UK.
