Police were diverting traffic in Falkirk this morning as firefighters carried out investigations at a local pub.

Three fire engines arrived at Manor Street at around 10.15 a.m. on Wednesday morning following reports of smoke from the cellar at the Wellington Bar.

Central Scotland Police briefly diverted traffic away from the Kirk Wynd and Manor Street.

However, Central Scotland Fire and Rescue confirmed at 10.40 a.m. that it had been a false alarm and the road re-opened.
