Westquarter Primary School was closed today due to a burst pipe.
Pupils were sent home just after 10 a.m. as the burst pipe affected the mains supply which meant there was no drinking water or usable toilet facilities.
The nursery at the school was also affected.
A Falkirk Council spokeswoman said: “The burst pipe was off the mains supply so there was no drinking water or water for the toilets so unfortunately the school had to be closed.
“We are working with Scottish Water to have the problem sorted and hopefully it will be done as soon as possible.”
