A man was rescued after his Land Rover was stuck on a flooded road at Station Road in Longcroft.
Around 20 firefighters and a water rescue team from Stirling raced to the scene after the alarm was raised at 7.45 a.m. this morning.
They used a boat to reach the driver and take him to safety. He was cold but otherwise unhurt.
The road was swamped after an unusually high level of rain overnight.
Station manager Gordon Griffen said: “This was an excellent example of how Scottish Fire and Rescue Service personnel with specialist skills are able to respond to emergencies and assist members of the community.”
