Denny Old

Worship on Sunday is at 11am and will be led by Sandra Mathers. Creche facilities will be available. Walking Group meets at the church on Tuesday at 7pm. (If it is raining at 6.30pm the walk will not take place). You are most welcome to come along and join the group, the walks are gentle and suitable for everyone to enjoy. All intimations for Sunday Service to be with Janet Rhodes by Thursday night at the latest.

Westpark Church

Worship on Sunday will be led by locum minister, Rev. David Wandrum, starting at 10.30am. This will be a family service and children will be made very welcome. On Wednesday evenings there will be a Vestry Hour in the new vestry from 7-8pm for anyone who wishes to talk to the minister. John Rintoul, Christian Aid representative for Denny and Westpark has intimated that £3160 was raised during Christian Aid Week with all of the local churches contributing to this total and thanks everyone for their support. One of the elders, Graham Peattie, has also intimated he will be doing a sponsored walk for church funds and is looking for the support of the congregation. The Wednesday Welcome is open from 10.30am for coffee/teas, service from 11.15-11.45am. Folllowing the service soup and sandwich lunches will be served at a cost of £3, from 11.45am-1.30pm. All welcome. Lunches will be served each Wednesday until July 15.

Baptist Church

The service on Sunday at 11am will be led by Rev. Norman Graham. Visitors are always welcome. There will be no evening services during the month of July. This Sunday afternoon, a fellowship walk will be arranged - weather permitting.

Citizens Advice

The bureau is located above Clydesdale Bank at 24 Duke Street, Denny and is open today (Thursday), Friday, Monday and Wednesday from 10am-2pm. A legal clinic is held every four weeks on Wednesdays by appointment only (4-5pm). An outreach clinic is held at Bridge Crescent Community Flat on Tuesday from 9.30am-noon. Telephone service (Citizens Advice Direct) available Monday-Friday from 9am-8pm and Saturday 10am-2pm on (01324) 823118.

Denny YMCA

The next YMCA fun night is tomorrow (Friday) from 6.30-8.30pm. It will include a bouncy castle, crafting, games, music and more. Book via Denny and Dunipace Y.M.C.A. Facebook page. Open to all children of primary school age.

Credit Union

Savings are safe with Falkirk District Credit Union and low cost loans are available once regular savings established. Anyone who lives or works in the area within the boundary of Falkirk Council can join, junior savers welcome. There is also a collection at Denny Old Parish Church in Duke Street every Wednesday from 10-11.30am.

Step Forth

Step Forth is delighted to say we have a new walk in Denny. It leaves from the community flat in Bridge Crescent at 6.30pm. The walk will be led by our walk leaders who will show you new paths in the area. Walks are open to everyone and are free, so if you want to get out in the fresh air, meet other people and discover new places to walk come along.
