Masonic News

A regular meeting of Lodge St. Andrew (Denny & Loanhead) No. 176 was held last Thursday. The business included the second degree ceremonial which was worked by Lodge St. Andrew No. 199, Cumbernauld. There was a tribute to mark the passing of PM John Bell, lodge secretary for the past 13 years. A superb keyboard player, John is a great loss to masonry and music but most of all his family and the huge turnout at his funeral showed the high regard he was held in. Bro. Kevin McLean has been installed as RWM for his second term. Tickets for next month’s cabaret evenings can be reserved at the bar or via Helen. On Thursday, February 26 the master mason degree will be worked by 176 office bearers with visitors expected from Croydon.
