The flame is being carried through the district today.
More than 10,000 schoolchildren are lining the route, with each school having its own allocated viewing area.
The Olympic Torch arrived in Larbert at noon and was carried by a relay team through Camelon to the Falkirk Wheel, where it was placed on a barge and lowered into the basin below.
The Torch was welcomed with performances from the Sing Forth community choir and dancers from Denny High School.
After a break for lunch, the Olympic flame will then proceed through Falkirk town centre, past the Municipal Buildings and The Steeple, and on towards The Falkirk Stadium and Skinflats.
