Vandals took “considerable effort” to wreck a flower bed put in place to spruce up a village.
Some time last weekend the Polmont Rotary Club badge, which sits in a bed of daffodils on a grass bank in Station Road, Polmont, was pulled out of the ground.
The bed was put in place by Polmont Horticultural in partnership with the Rotary club to brighten up the village for spring and summer.
Community convenor Graham Smith said: “Over the weekend it was vandalised with the sign being ripped from the ground and thrown onto the bed. There were blocks of concrete holding the sign in the ground so it has taken considerable effort to do this.”
Anyone with information on the vandalism should phone police on 101.
