Two charged with £1500 shoplifting spree in Falkirk

Two men have been charged with shoplifting and road offences after police recovered £1500 worth of suspected stolen goods.

A 30-year-old and 28-year-old have been charged with a string of offences and are due to appear at court tomorrow.

It is believed security staff from the Howgate shopping centre helped police apprehend the men on Tuesday.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police in Forth Valley have arrested and charged two men in connection with various road and shoplifting offences in the Falkirk area.

“A 30-year-old and a 28-year-old are due to appear before Falkirk Sheriff Court on Thursday, October 15.”
