Three people have been charged with alleged minor disorder offences after police stepped up patrols in Grangemouth’s Bowhouse area on Saturday night.

The extra policing follows concerns raised by local people, and included visits to local licensed premises.

Police say the exercise reflected a commitment to tackle disorder and other forms of anti-social behaviour.

Taking part with police were members of the community alongside officers from the Community, AQlcohol and Violence Reduction Unit.
