Images of the last-known sighting of a missing Bainsford man have been released by police.
A renewed appeal for information came as a CCTV still shows David Paterson (52) walking from Bankside Industrial Estate into the Castle Road Industrial Estate area.
It was taken at 9.05 a.m. on Monday shortly after the psychiatric nurse left his home in nearby Philip Street.
Inspector Chris Stewart, who is leading the search, said: “We are appealing to anyone who has any information on where David may be, or believes they may have seen him, to contact us on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
The missing man has been married for 26 years to Dr Gayle Paterson, a GP at the Tryst Medical Practice in Stenhousemuir.
She reported him missing on Monday evening when he failed to return home from work as normal.
However, police inquiries revealed he never turned up at the Falkirk care home where he has worked for the last 15 years.
Police have said his disappearance is “totally out of character”.
Mr Paterson is described as 5ft 3ins with short dark grey hair, thinning at the back and of slim to medium build. He has blue eyes and a dimple on his chin.
When last seen he was wearing a blue fleece, dark denim jeans and lacing light tan shoes. He was carrying a dark red bag with blue straps.
