A man was caught drunk driving while disqualified following a police operation.
The 36-year-old was stopped in the Maddiston area on Friday, July 29.
He pled guilty when he appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court on August 2 and will be sentenced at a later date.
Sergeant Craig Heron of Braes Ward policing team said: “Those who drive under the influence of alcohol are a danger to other road users and pedestrians. Experience also shows us that people without a licence or insurance are more likely to be involved in an accident.
“This incident shows that police will proactively stop and check drivers to ensure that they are fit to drive and hold a valid licence.
“Those caught drunk driving risk losing the vehicle which can be seized by police. An automatic driving ban usually follows when a person is convicted.
“I ask members of the public to report anyone who drives whilst under the influence of alcohol or without a licence by calling 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
