Fears are growing for a Camelon man who has not been seen since Friday.

Police are appealing for help to trace Alan MacKenzie (57), who was last seen in Learmonth Street, Falkirk about 11.30am on Friday, August 14.

When last seen Alan was driving a white Fiat Ducato van, registration number SL05ZVF, with the words ‘John Heaney Builders’ written on each side.

Alan is described as being around 5ft 7ins, medium build and balding with greying reddish hair. He was wearing black trousers, a black t-shirt and jumper.

Sergeant David MacKay said: “Due to the passage of time Alan’s family are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare. It is unusual for him not to contact his family for such a long period of time. Alan is also known to travel across the central belt area of Scotland in the van.”

Anyone who can assist us in tracing Alan, or who has seen his van since Friday, is asked to contact Police on 101.
