Motorists using the car park at Falkirk Municipal Buildings were left scratching their heads over fees.
Two of the ticket machines say charges apply until 3pm, with the other two charging to 5.30pm.
The Falkirk Herald contacted Falkirk Council who said the error was down to the Free After Three campaign. The initiative allowed drivers to park in the town centre for no fee after 3pm but was stopped in April.
A council spokesperson said:“Unfortunately two of the parking information signs at the entrance to the car park have still to be updated with new information now that the ‘Free after 3’ initiative has come to an end.
“This will be rectified shortly. All parking ticket machines have been updated and pay and display is required until 5.30pm.”
