There’s still time to enter this year’s MoonWalk Scotland and raise vital funds for breast cancer charities north of the border.

The annual event in Edinburgh takes place on June 7. It leaves from Inverleith Park and covers a route in and around the capital.

Organiser Walk the Walk has donated £3 million towards the building and initial running of the Maggie’s Caring Cancer Centre to be built in the grounds of Forth Valley Royal Hospital at Larbert.

The power walking challenge can be tackled by people of all ages and all abilities.

You can sign up now for the Full Moon and cover the 16.2 mile route or, if that is too much, consider the Half Moon at 13.1 miles. For those who think that might be too much the New Moon is the perfect distance at 6.55 miles.

This year’s theme for women – and men – to decorate their bras is superheroes.

Over £16 million has been raised by The MoonWalk since the first event in 2006,
