Lodge Carron

On Wednesday, October 22, Lodge Carron welcomed a large and distinguished deputation from Lodge Barns O’ Clyde 1018 and Lodge Dufferin 570 Ontario Canada. RWM William Campbell welcomed the deputation into the Lodge and handed the mallet to RW Bro Arthur Di Cecco so that he could preside over the Lodge. RWB Art Di Cecco asked the OB’s of Lodge Carron 139 to vacate their offices in favour of Lodge Dufferin 570. Then followed the exemplification of a fellow craft degree as practiced in Ontario Canada. This was well received by the large turnout of brethren. On completion of the ceremony RWB Arthur Di Cecco returned the mallet to RWM William Campbell. RWM Campbell praised RWB Arthur Di Cecco and his degree team for the excellent work carried out. He asked the brethren to show their appreciation which they readily did. The deputation retired after being invited for Lodge hospitality. Then followed a great evening of songs and story telling excellently hosted by DOC Charles Kilpatrick PM. A great evening for Lodge Carron 139 and an even greater evening for freemasonry.
