Dawson Mission

There will be a morning worship service on Sunday at 11 a.m. Sunday school and young folks meet. Refreshments served at close of service. At 6 p.m. is the evening service with Derek Malcolm from Glasgow. On Wednesday, December 3 the annual report and business meeting takes place. All will be made very welcome to any of our services.

Christmas Fayre

Carronshore Primary School Christmas Fayre takes place on Saturday between 10 a.m. and noon. Entry, which includes refreshments, is £1 for adults and 50p for children. Stalls include home baking, second hand toys, Bababoo, Bow Belles, Pretty Little things, crafts, Reindeer Dust and lots more. Santa himself will be making an appearance.

Carronbank House

Carronbank House Nursery is holding a Christmas fayre to raise funds for both the nursery and Yorkhill Hospital on Sunday, December 7 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Stenhousemuir FC coaches will be along with some others and will be taking part in a sponsored man wax. There will also be stalls, face paints, tea, coffee and cake. All welcome.

Parish Church

The Bothkennar and Carronshore church service on Sunday at 11 a.m. includes the sacrament of Holy Communion and will be led by Rev. Andrew Moore. Crèche and Sunday School meet every week and tea and coffee are served after the service. On communion duty are D. Macdonald, W. Clark, D. Scotland, M. Easton, Mrs C. Leishman, J. Sharp, Miss A. Sim, J. Mundie, J. Clark, Mrs N. Paton, I. Malcolm and I. Thomson. On door duty are Mrs J. Laird and D.Macdonald. On offering duty are I. Lightbody, Miss F. Davidson, Mrs R. Baird, Mrs J.Ross, Mrs C. Wojcik, Mrs. J. Crawford, Mrs S. Gow and D. Macleod. On tea duty are Mr and Mrs D. Laird. The church is holding a Candlelight Supper in the church on Friday, December 5 at 7.15 p.m. in aid of church funds. With good music and delicious food you will be sure to have an enjoyable evening so please come along. Ticket price is £3/£5 for families.

Walking Group
