A dog walker got the fright of her life when she stumbled upon a pair of legs sticking out of the ground.
Jill Stewart made the strange discovery while trekking through woods in High Bonnybridge.
She soon realised that the legs were actually plastic but the 27-year-old admitted: “I got a real fright.”
Jill, who runs the Let’s Go For Walkies dog walking service, told the Falkirk Herald: “This is a scary time of year anyway with Halloween just around the corner.
“It was raining really heavily on Monday so I didn’t get a good look at first.
“I thought it was a real body and was scared there was a murderer about!”
The legs were left sticking out the ground in a clump of trees just off the path about half a mile from the main road.
There is no sign of any upper torso,
Jill, from Bonnybridge, continued: “When I had a closer look it was obvious they were plastic but I really did get a fright.
“I have no idea what they are doing in the middle of woodland but my husband Craig certainly got a good laugh when I told him about my scare in the woods.”
