Thanks to everyone who came along to the September Independent Living Cafe in the Sensory Centre. The ILA Cafe is open to anyone with an assessed need from social work and anyone with an interest in disability. The next cafe is next Thursday, October 2 again in the Forth Valley Sensory Centre from 12.30-2 p.m. Now the Referendum is over, there will be plenty to talk about. Come along and enjoy a light lunch, meet old friends, make new ones and give us your opinion. Due to rising costs, we are having to charge £2 per lunch. Jamie Lenathen and Harry McFadden won £90 each on Sunday’s 21 club. Willie Halliday and George Halaka had the lowest scores and win £10 each. There are bingo sessions every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 7.30 p.m. On Tuesdays there are refreshments for a small donation. Entertainment tomorrow (Friday)is bey vocalist Irene Corr with the show starting at around 9.15 p.m.
Entertainment on Saturday is be Fraser’s Disco. On Saturday the Martin Toal memorial darts competition takes place. Register from noon for a 12.30 p.m. start. Entry is £3 with all proceeds to CHAS. There will be the usual pool and domino tournaments on Sunday from 3.30 p.m. Admission is £1.

This non-profit making café in Camelon Community Centre is open to the public Monday–Friday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and Saturday 9-1 p.m.
Every Tuesday from 10 a.m.-noon in Camelon Community Centre come along and get fresh fruit and veg from your local farmer at reasonable prices. We accept Healthy Start Vouchers and there will be information on healthy eating, free recipe cards and tasting sessions.
