Koffee Time continues to meet from 10 a.m. till noon today (Thursday). Donations are being collected for a new venture in Falkirk Community Hospital that we are pleased to support. Our expected speaker at the Bible Teaching Hour at 11.50 a.m. on Sunday is Jim Paterson from Grangemouth. The next Koffee Time Extra will meet on Monday, November 17 at 2 p.m. Remember that a warm welcome awaits you at Bethany whenever you are free to join us. The P4-P7 lunch club in Carmuirs Primary meets on Tuesday and we continue with the ‘Adventures of Mary Jones and Her Bible’. That evening at 7.30 p.m. we have a prayer meeting followed by bible teaching. Our expected speaker is Walter Robertson from Paisley. An able bible student we are sure he will have something worth sharing with us.
Last Sunday evening we had a procession of around 300 people leave Dollar Park and arrive at the club with a lantern. The lanterns had the names of all those lost in Afghanistan. The lanterns were laid out to make the number 453 which was the number of British military killed in Afghanistan. An amazing tribute from all who attended. Lost but never forgotten.

Every Tuesday from 10 a.m.–noon in Camelon Community Centre. Come along and get fresh fruit and veg from your local farmer at reasonable prices. We accept Healthy Start Vouchers and there will be information on healthy eating, free recipe cards and tasting sessions.

There are bingo sessions every Tuesday, Friday and Satruday from 7.30 p.m. Refreshments available on Tuesdays for a small donation. Entertainment tomorrow (Friday)is by vocalist Degsy with the show starting at 9.15 p.m. On Christmas Eve there will be entertainment by vocalist Joanne Bence and a disco. It runs from 7-11 p.m. The Hogmanay entertainment is Degsy with bingo prior to the show which runs from 9 p.m. till late. Tickets, costing £5, are available from the bar.
Entertainment on Saturday is provided by Fraser’s Disco. There are pool and domino tournaments every Sunday from 3.30 p.m. Admission is £1.
This week’s winner of the draw in aid of Camelon Juniors was Caroline Kaney who takes the £50 consolation prize. The ticket was sold in Tesco. Next week’s jackpot will be £1000.
Entertainment on Saturday is by Stevie’s disco.
Carmuirs Primary will host this event in the school on Saturday, November 29 from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m. Lots of stalls and visit from Santa Claus. Entry £1.
There will be a fundraising Children’s Christmas party in the Ochiltree Club on Sunday, December 7 from 3-6 p.m. No tickets required. Pay £5 at the door and bring a small gift for your child to receive from Santa. Contact Isabel on 634689 for more details. There will also be a fundraising fayre on the same day in the club from 1-4 p.m.
