ILA Cafe

Thanks to everyone who came along to the April Independent Living Cafe in the Forth Valley Sensory Centre. It is open to anyone with an assessed need from social work and to anyone with an interest in disability. The next cafe is today (Thursday), again in the Sensory Centre from 12.30-2 p.m. Come along and enjoy a light lunch, meet old friends and make new ones. Due to rising costs we are having to charge £2 per lunch. For further information please contact Elma on (01324) 625097. We are now able to help anyone who might have a problem with transport. Metafit Class

Takes place every Tuesday in Tamfourhill Community Centre at 8 p.m. For more information call 07739718361.

Junior Club

There are bingo sessions every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 7.30 p.m. Refreshments available on a Tuesday for a small donation. Entertainment tomorrow (Friday) is vocalist Frankie B with the show starting at 9.15 p.m.

Mariner Bar

Entertainment on Saturday is by Fraser’s Disco. There are pool and domino tournaments every Sunday from 2.30 p.m. Admission £1.

Tamfourhill Community Centre

Events include: Monday – Kay klass dance at 4 p.m. and 4.45 p.m., Kickbox cardio fitness at 7 p.m.; Tuesday – Drop in for coffee and chat from 1-3 p.m., Parent and toddler group from noon-2 p.m., Creative industries workshop at 5.30 p.m.; Wednesday – Junior Youth Club for P1-P3 at 5.45 p.m. and P4-P7 at 7 p.m.; Thursday – Senior Youth Club for S1 upwards at 6.30 p.m.; Saturday – Enjoy-a-Ball at 8.30 a.m. and 10.30 a.m.; Sunday – Jujitsu at 3.30 p.m.

Bethany Hall

Koffee Time today (Thursday) from 10 a.m. till noon will welcome you for a cuppa and a chat. It is not so much that it is an election free zone but rather there may be even more significant matters to share at our Thought for the Day. Forms are available for our visit to Largs on the last Wednesday in August. We meet for our regular Sunday service at 10.30 a.m., for Coffee Break at 11.30 a.m. and at 11.50 a.m. for Bible Teaching when the expected speaker is Bill Turnbull. Visits are planned for Sunday at 3 p.m. to Summerford and on Monday at 2 p.m. to Wallside, We meet for prayer and Bible Study on Tuesday at 7.30 p.m.

Bowling Club

The 21 club had a host of winners each winning £25. They are: B.Muirhead, A.Myles, J.Robb, K.Dickinson, G.Wotherspoon, J.O’Donnell, J.Halliday and L.Wotherspoon. Ian Stewart had the lowest score and also picks up £25. Names still required for the five person team on Sunday, May 17 sponsored by David Graham vehicle repairs at Union Road, Camelon. Chronic Pain

Pain Association Scotland run professionally led monthly support groups for people with all forms of chronic pain. The focus is on helping you gain control and live more effectively with your pain as well as meeting others in the same situation. You do not need to be referred by your doctor. The Card Making Class and Carpet Bowls are closed over the summer at Camelon Community Centre.
