ILA Cafe

Thanks to everyone who came along to the July Independent Living Cafe in the Sensory Centre. The ILA Cafe is open to everyone with an assessed need by social work and to anyone with an interest in disability. The next ILA Cafe is on Thursday, August 7 again in the Forth Valley Sensory Centre, Camelon.

Come along and enjoy a light lunch and a chat with old friends or make some new ones. Due to rising costs we are having to charge £2 per lunch. For further information contact Elma on (01324) 625097. Spirit Within

Would you like to connect with your spiritual side and meet like minded open individuals? Then come along to our development group every Wednesday in the Ochiltree Club from 7.30-9.30 p.m. Subjects covered include mediumship and psychic work, healing, past life regression, positive thinking etc with guided meditations to relax and unwind. Keep Fit

An aerobics and toning class takes place every Wednesday in the Mariner Sports Centre from 7.45-9 p.m. For further informatin call Sheila on (01324) 634192 or 07859933877.

Camera Club

Meets every Friday in the Scotia Room, Camelon Education Centre from 7-9 p.m.

Juniors Club

There are bingo sessions every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 7.30 p.m. At Tuesday’s session refreshments are available for a small donation. Entertainment tomorrow (Friday) is vocalist Suzanne Scott.

Mariner Bar

Entertainment on Saturday is by Fraser’s Disco. There are pool and domino tournaments every Sunday from 3.30 p.m. Admission £1.

Treasure Chest

The weekly draw in aid of Camelon Juniors was won by Noel Martin, who took the £50 consolation prize with the ticket sold at Tesco Camelon. Next week’s jackpot will be £950.

Tai Chi

Relax, have fun and improve your health and wellbeing. Qigong is a gentle exercise system that improves flexibility, balance and feelings of wellbeing, based on the same principles of traditional Chinese medicine. Meet new people in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. All you need is comfortable clothing and flat shoes. Why not give a try? Bowling Club

Teams for the John O’Connor Funeral Director sponsored event on Sunday should report to the club for 9 a.m. and be on the green for 9.30 a.m.. The 21 club was won by Jean Halliday who picks up £225. Lowest score was June Graham who wins £20.

Prize Bingo

Greenbank Court has prize bingo in the hall tonight (Thursay) with eyes down at 7.30 p.m. Lots of lovely prizes to be won. Please bring your own cup.
