Metafit Class

A Metafit class is held every Wednesday in Brown Street church hall 8.15 p.m. For more information call 07739718361.

ILA Cafe

Thanks to everyone who came along to the April Independent Living Cafe in the Sensory Centre. It is open to anyone with an assessed need from social work and anyone with an interest in disability. The next ILA Cafe is on Thursday, May 1, again in the Forth Valley Sensory Centre from 12.30-2 p.m. We are hoping to learn how to do some sign language. If you would like to have a go, come along and enjoy a light lunch, meet old friends and make new ones. For further information please contact Elma on (01324) 625097. Spirit Within

Would you like to develop your spiritual side and meet like minded open individuals? Then come along to our development group every Wednesday in the Ochiltree Club from 7.30-9.30 p.m. Subjects covered include mediumship and psychic work, healing, past life regression and law of attraction with guided meditations to relax and unwind. Bethany Hall

Koffee Time meets today (Thursday) for the last get-together of April. Quite suddenly we are on the threshold of May. No doubt the chat around the tables will focus on new growth near and far. On Sunday we meet at 10.30 a.m. for the Breaking of Bread, refreshments are served at 11.30 a.m. and our expected speaker at 11.50 a.m. for the Bible Teaching is Ian Gibb, a frequent visitor who is presently exploring the Book of Psalms. At the same time we meet for the post Easter Sunday Club and are looking forward to seeing the Holiday Club participants. At 2.30 p.m. some Bethany folk meet with residents of Dorrator Court for a short service. On Tuesday at 3.15 p.m. the Carmuirs Primary After School Club has its first meeting of the summer term with Dave leading the way. That evening at 7.30 p.m. we look forward to a report from a member of the local Gideons’ branch on their recent work.

Tai Chi

Have fun and improve your health and wellbeing with Tai Chi Qigong. It is a gentle exercise system that improves flexibility, balance and feelings of wellbeing, based on the same principles as traditional Chinese medicine. All you need is comfortable clothing and flat shoes. Why not give it a try now come along and see us. Camera Club

This takes place every Friday from 7-9 p.m. in Camelon Community Centre’s Scotia Room. All welcome.

Keep Fit

An aerobics class is held in the Mariner Sports Centre every Wednesday from 7.30 p.m. Have fun becoming toned. Telephone Sheila on (01324) 634192 or 07859933877 for further information.

Marinier Bar

Entertainment on Saturday is Fraser’s Disco. There are domino and pool competitions every Sunday starting at 3.30 p.m. Entry is £1 per person.

Car Boot

Every Sunday from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. there is a car boot sale at Falkirk Stadium. Pitches are £6 each. Proceeds to benefit Falkirk FC. For further information call Jim Campbell on (01324) 873498.

Juniors Club

There are bingo sessions every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 7.30 p.m. There are refreshments at the Tuesday session for a small donation. Entertainment on Friday is provided by male vocalist Degsy.

Treasure Chest

The weekly Camelon Juniors draw was won by Margaret Duncan, who took the consolation prize of £50. Next week’s jackpot will be £550.
