Bethany Hall

Today (Thursday) we are half way through the Holiday Club for primary school pupils at Bethany Hall in Baird Street. We meet at 12.30 p.m. for lunch today and tomorrow. After the free lunch the club runs from 1-3 p.m. led by Dave Bremner. It is not too late to join us. You will be made welcome. At 7 p.m. on Friday we meet for our club prize giving and parents and other members of the families are invited to join with the children and the leaders at that time. We meet this morning (Thursday) for our Koffee Time from 10 a.m. till noon and Roy will bring us the thought for the day. Our meetings planned for Sunday are at the usual times. You are invited to join us for coffee/tea at 11.30 a.m. and at the Bible Teaching Hour which begins at 11.50 a.m. when Douglas Moodie is the expected speaker. On Monday we meet at 2 p.m. for Koffee Time Extra when you are also welcome to join us for a cuppa and chat as school takes up for the summer term. On Tuesday we meet at 7.30 p.m. for our church prayer meeting and the speaker invited that evening is Roy Marshall who will bring us the first of two messages.

Camera Club

Meets every Friday from 7-9 p.m. in Camelon Education Centre’s Scotia Room. All welcome.

Juniors Club

There are bingo sessions every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday in Camelon Juniors Social Club from 7.30 p.m. At Tuesday’s session refreshments are available for a small donation. Entertainment tomorrow (Friday) is male vocalist Tony Andrews with the show starting at 9.15 p.m.

Mariner Bar

Entertainment on Saturday is from Fraser’s Disco. There are pool and domino tournaments every Sunday from 2.30 p.m. Admission £1.

Cabaret Show

This will take place in Camelon Juniors Social Club on Saturday, May 2 and features female vocalist Janey Kirk. Beginning at 8.30 p.m., tickets are available now from the bar, priced £2.

Treasure Chest

The weekly jackpot in aid of Camelon Juniors was not won with Gordon Abbott taking the £50 consolation prize. Next week’s jackpot will be £1150.

Tamfourhill Centre

Events in the community centre include: Monday – Kay klass dance at 4 p.m. and 4.45 p.m.; Kickbox cardio fitness at 7 p.m. Tuesday - Drop in for coffee and a chat between 1-3 p.m.;

Parent and toddler group from noon to 2 p.m.; Creative industries workshop from 5.30 p.m. Wednesday – Junior Youth Club for P1-P3 at 5.45 p.m. and P4-P7 at 7 p.m. Thursday – Senior Youth Club for S1 upwards at 6.30 p.m. Saturday – Enjoy-a-Ball at 9.30 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. Sunday – Jujitsu at 3.30 p.m.

Computer Classes

Entertainment on Saturday is a disco.

Tai Chi

This gentle excercise system can improve health and wellbeing. Classes are every Monday from 6.30-7.20 p.m. in Dorrator Road church hall. Contact Yvonne 07824507785 or just come along and join in a friendly relaxed class. Suitable for beginners.

Bowling Club

On Tuesday there will be a prize bingo in the club. Admission is £1 and you can pay at the door. Please be at the club for 7 p.m. and it’s eyes down for 7.30 p.m. Parking is allowed in the bus lane after 6 p.m. and Beefeater car park must be avoided. Greens are now open thanks to Mrs Margaret Burt who was piped on to the green. Thanks to all who attended and made it an amazing day.
