Stylists from three Falkirk hair salons are celebrating after once again making the Scottish regional final of the L’Oréal Colour Trophy.
Chaplins from Hallglen, Couper & Co and Rod Smith Hairdressing, both based in the town centre, will take part in the event in Glasgow on April 7.
All three salons have made it through in both the Colour Trophy and Men’s Image Award categories.
They will have to create a live model look and demonstrate an awareness of the Autumn/Winter 2014/15 trends in just 30 minutes. The model’s style must be “original, modern and inspirational”.
This is the 59th year of the L’Oréal Colour Trophy which attracts some of the most talented hairdressers and their teams from across the country.
Only four of the competing teams will go through to join the winners from seven other regional areas to the grand final in London in June.
Chris Williams from Rush Hair, who is one of the judges, said: “When you enter and then win a competition there are so many factors involved; not only are you elated that your work has been recognised and rewarded by your peers, your team will also benefit from the positive PR and opportunities surrounding the win. Its win, win all round.”
