A legal firm is celebrating after receiving a top accreditation for the fourth successive year.
Falkirk’s MTM Defence Lawyers again impressed assessors from the Legal 500 ‘industry bible’.
It is one of only four Scottish firms ranked as a leader in criminal rank, and has also been ranked and recommended for its work in fraud cases.
The firm is described as being “highly regarded” and as having “secured several acquittals in high-profile cases”.
MTM director and solicitor-advocate Neil Hay said: “A legal firm’s reputation is beyond price and we are pleased to be acknowledged as a leading firm for the fourth year in a row.
“This matters to us because the guide is based on client and counsel recommendations and their experience of engaging the firm. It also reflects the work we do out of court, as well as in court itself, particularly in areas such as negotiating lesser charges and sifting through voluminous amounts of forensic evidence.
“It is particularly gratifying for a Falkirk firm to be up with the big firms with their legions of lawyers.”
MTM was found in 1993 and with two solicitor-advocates, Neil and Martin Morrow, it can represent clients at all levels.
