Two long-serving employees are celebrating becoming employers!

Moira Ashby and Mark Everingham were both recruited by specialist promotional goods and branded clothing company Recognition Express 11 years ago.

Now they and David Marshall, son of previous owner, Graham, have bought the firm based in Grangemouth’s Powdrake Road.

Moira looks after the admin and accounts and Mark, her son-in-law, manages the design and production side of the business which makes and sources name badges, personalised clothing and branded items for local companies.

Before joining the business owned by his dad for the last ten years, David managed call centres for an energy firm.

Moira said: “We know what a good business this is. When Graham said he was retiring and putting it up for sale it was too good an opportunity to miss.”

David added: “It’s not every day you get the chance to buy a business with a proven pedigree. We’re looking forward to taking it to the next stage.”

Graham said: “They know everything they need to know about Recognition Express. The company is in safe hands.”
