A leading campervan manufacturer based in Grangemouth will launch its latest designs at the prestigous Caravan and Motorhome show in Glasgow.
In a sector dominated by English, Italian and German builders, Campers Scotland Ltd, which operates from premises in West Mains Industrial Estate, is spearheading what is new in the leisure vehicle market by showcasing two new models designed and built here.
The company has been in business since 2006 and star of the 2014 show is its Nissan Elgrand Executive Deluxe.
Aimed at the top end of the market, it offers luxury from as little as £13,995 for the two-berth model which comes complete with the usual cooking and sleeping facililities and on-board heater and built-in toilet for the more demanding camper.
The vehicle, which also comes as a four berth for under £17,000, is one of the most striking campervans on the road and features an on-board computer, incredibly smooth ride, a powerful but economical 3.5 litre engine and a 4WD option.
Also being introduced at the show is the company’s Peugeot Expert Horizon and Deluxe vehicles from £23,995 new or £13,995 built into a low mileage used vehicle.
