Banking on a loan from his previous employers encouraged Gareth Linden to open his own business.

Absolutely Stuffed is a specialist cafe in Falkirk’s Bean Row, close to the High Street.

Gareth and his partner, Jennifer Snedden, offer freshly made crepes, pancakes and waffles, as well
as a breakfast and lunch menu.

Previously a chef at the RBS head office in Edinburgh, Gareth wanted to branch out on his own to show his own culinary flare.

RBS helped make the dream come true by providing a small business loan of £16,000 which helped his purchase and refurbish the premises.

Gareth said: “RBS were beyond helpful with the support that they provided, especially Stuart Shand, who was knowledgeable about the surrounding area and passionate about his work.”

Stuart, an RBS business specialist, said: “It has been a pleasure getting to know the business and owners – they show real drive and ambition, and I know they will make this a great success.”
