A Falkirk hair and beauty salon is celebrating a quarter of a century in business by offering even more services to clients.
Damask Hair has made the hundreds of people who crossed their Grahams Road doorway over the last 25 years feel like a million dollars.
And that is something which is set to continue, with the introduction of hot shaves for male customers, a full hair extension service and brand new Himalayan Salt detox – the first salon in the area to offer this form of treatment.
Owner Patricia Crawford, who runs the business with husband Douglas, said: “We’ve had loyal clients over the years and we also do a lot of further education with our hairdressers, putting them through advanced courses so we can continue to keep our standards really high.
“Also you have to move with the times – that’s something you have to do.”
Damask has always been situated in Grahams Road and the location has become more attractive as the years have gone by, with great parking and access to the train station. The premises itself is deceptively large inside and Patricia has been able to expand as and when required, with even more beauty rooms and other features.
A business which started with just three people, Damask now employs eight stylists four juniors, two beauty therapists and a nail technician.
Saturday is a special day for clients, but Patricia said she and the team will be celebrating the milestone later in the month.
