One of Scotland’s leading housing organisations is looking to build on recent success.

But it will have a tough task topping 2013 achievements.

Link, provides housing and support services to around 10,000 families and individuals across the country.

Two months ago the group was named Employer of the Year at The Falkirk Herald Business Awards, before going on to pick up the top Outstanding Achievement accolade.

Days later it was named the UK Social Enterprise of the Year, having previously taken the Scottish crown.

Looking ahead, chief
executive Craig Sanderson said Link would continue to build homes, provide employment opportunities and excellent services to people in the Falkirk area.

Link’s group of companies provide new and improved homes for rent and sale, helping community regeneration in addition to giving support and care to customers.

Formed in 1962, it currently employs 400 staff and its customer service centre is situated at Callendar Business Park in Falkirk.

Across Scotland, 237 new homes will be built in the next 12 months for rent and sale, 21 in the Falkirk area with a further 51 here in 2015.

The in-house trades team, Link Property, which created 27 new jobs in the Falkirk area in 2013, will continue to provide a repairs and maintenance service to both Link tenants and customers.

Mr Sanderson said: “Link has provided housing, support and advice services in the Falkirk area for nearly 50 years.

“We look forward to continuing the excellent working relationships we have with local communities, Falkirk Council and other partners to extend these services and supply significant numbers of new homes, not only of exceptional quality but also
affordable to people on limited incomes.”
