The firm named top in the Best Large category at the recent
Falkirk Herald Business Awards wants to get even
bigger in 2014.
Edinmore Contracts, which specialises in insurance reinstatements and has a turnover in excess of £6 million, plans to open a new branch and create 30 jobs on the back of its recent success and growth.
Founded in 2005, Grangemouth-based Edinmore directly employs 97 people. It acts as a one-stop shop to the insurance and loss-adjusting industry by providing a range of reinstatement services, from surveying damaged buildings to repairing them.
To help ensure repairs are carried out as quickly and efficiently as possible, it also employs its own dedicated claims management team.
Edinmore lists some of the UK’s leading insurers and loss adjusters among its customers, including Zurich, Aviva, DLG and Cunningham Lyndsey. It is contracted to repair both commercial and domestic properties.
It has also been approved by a number of leading industry schemes, including Constructionline, Trust Mark and CHAS (Construction Health and Safety Assessment Scheme).
The business has recently received a substantial funding package from Clydesdale Bank’s business and private banking centre in Falkirk, enabling it to undertake a greater number of contracts.
Clarke Faichnie, managing director, said: “When seeking a new funding partner, Clydesdale Bank’s track record in growing businesses stood out amongst its competitors. Since becoming a customer of the bank, we’ve also been seriously impressed with its proactive approach.
“We look forward to working in partnership with the bank’s knowledgeable team to achieve our growth aspirations and deliver further success for Edinmore.”
