Driving forward with its
expansion plans after winning several big name contracts is haulage firm Xs Transport Ltd.
After signing deals with household names such as Parcel Force, founder and operations manager Alan Taylor is confident further growth will come the company’s way.
The plans were given an additional boost after agreement was reached with Bank of Scotland for a £200,000 finance deal.
Xs Transport was established in 2011 and provides haulage services throughout Scotland and the UK, with a fleet range from 3.5 to 44 tonne vehicles.
Its rapid growth has seen the company move to larger premises in Winchester Avenue, Denny with two new warehouses for storage and distribution.
Alan said: “The business is progressing well and I am hopeful we will see that continue. Recent contract wins, particularly with household names such as Parcel Force and Norbert Dentressangle Transport UK Ltd, reflect the standard of service we offer and the Bank of Scotland has been instrumental in enabling us to deliver on our commitments.”
To help support the growth plans, the bank’s commercial finance has provided it with a factoring facility, which means it can now access up to 90 per cent of the value of invoice issued within 24 hours.
Alan added: “This is imperative to our cash flow and means we don’t have to rely on payment from clients, which can often take up to three months.”
Karen Galbraith, Bank of Scotland’s account manager, said: “Xs Transport has made an impressive start in its trading over the past two years. We want to ensure this success continues and the company has the best possible opportunity to capitalise on an increasingly buoyant economy.”
