Last Sunday the minister, Rev. Murdo Campbell, led the worship at 11 a.m. assisted by James Falconer, who gave the children’s and youth address. This Sunday, the minister will conduct the service at 11 a.m. The Annual Business Meeting will take place after this morning service at approximately 12.30 p.m. when the accounts for 2013 will be presented. The retiring collection at the recent Communion Services for our Missionary Partners, the Duncans, in South Africa raised the sum of £268.68. Tonight (Thursday), the Congregational Prayer Time takes place in the Small Hall at 7.45 p.m. A warm invitation is extended to everyone to come along to this time of prayerful fellowship. Tomorrow (Friday) the Boys’ Brigade Junior and Company Sections will hold their Parents’ Night at 6.30 p.m. Door duty this Sunday will be by John Anderson, Eric Smith, Alan Oliver, Jason Glass, Tom Grieve and Margo Graham. The creche will be manned by Gillian Beaton, Nancy Lees and Elspeth McCallum.

An Open Day to mark Down’s Syndrome Awareness Week will be held at the Activities Club in Grange Community Education Centre on Saturday, March 22 from 2-4 p.m. Art, music, games and information leaflets available. Tea and cake provided. All welcome.
Members and visitors at Lodge Polmont No 793 on Wednesday, March 12 enjoyed a fine rendering of the Second Degree ceremony, as practised in Lodge Polmont. It was carried out in exemplary fashion by the RWM, John Curry, and his team of Office-bearers. The next meeting of the Lodge will be on Wednesday, March 26 at 7.30 p.m. The business of the evening will be Ballot, Minutes, Accounts, and a Third Degree to be conferred by the Past Masters of the Lodge. All qualified brethren and visitors will be made most welcome.
