Parish Church

Last Sunday, Rev. Murdo Campbell led the worship at the 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. communion services. At the Kirk Session meeting prior to the morning communion service, Natasha Emslie, Barry and Catriona Hamilton and Nina Hodgson were admitted into church membership by profession of faith. The baptism of Natasha Emslie and Nina Hodgson also took place. The minister, session clerk, deputy session clerk and the elders present then offered the right hand of fellowship to the new members. Family and friends of the new members were also present at this part of the Kirk Session meeting. This Sunday, the minister will conduct the service at 11 a.m. The sunday school fun day and BBQ for the beginners and juniors will take place in the church grounds (if the weather is inclement, then in the halls) on Saturday from 11.30 a.m. - 2 p.m. This invitation is extended to the family and friends of our Sunday school children and the wider congregation. For more details contact either Ewan and Judith Norton or Laura Crompton. On Sunday, June 22 at 7.30 p.m. in the church, the Falkirk Caledonia Choir and Basmokoret (Basmo Choir from northern Norway) will hold a joint concert. Tickets priced at £3 are available from Falkirk Caledonia Choir members or pay at the door on the night. The proceeds from this concert are being donated to the church and will be used towards a future church community project. Door duty this Sunday will be by Tom Grieve, Andrew Fulton, Graham Bell, Elwyn Batt, Innes Macleod and Andy Gillespie. The crèche will be manned by Lorraine Campbell, Alison Cassells and Mary Munro.
