Step Forth

Why not join our walking group and meet new friends. alk leaves the Grange centre every Thursday at 10 a.m. We now have a new walk leader for this walk. Parish Church

Last Sunday, the worship at the earlier summer start time of 10.30 a.m. was led by Rev. Danny Mathers. During the service our thoughts and prayers were with the Martin Family, in particular husband Bill, daughter Laura and son Scott, following the very sudden death of Bill’s wife Margaret, earlier in the week. This Sunday, Ian Baillie, Session Clerk, will lead the worship again at the earlier time of 10.30 a.m. The service will continue at this time up to and including Sunday, August 17. The Summer Sunday School for the following age groups, age three up to P3 and P4 to P7 and the creche will meet at 10.20 a.m. Tonight (Thursday) the Congregational Prayer time takes place at 7.45 p.m. in the Small Hall. Door duty this Sunday will be by Margaret Scott, Maralyn Stirling, Jessie Wallace, Jean Meek and Jim Stirling. The creche will be manned by Lorna Duke, Joanne Kilpatrick and Alison Cassells.

Metafit Class

A metafit Falkirk class is on every Thursday at Brightons Community Hall from 8.15 p.m. All welcome. For more information call 07739718361. All classes will run as normal in the holidays.
