Like to walk but not on your own? Want to get fit but don’t know where to start? Why not join our walking group and meet new friends. Walk leaves the Grange centre every Thursday at 10 a.m. We now have a new walk leader for this walk. Last Sunday the minister conducted morning worship at the usual time of 11 a.m. The Sunday School (beginners and juniors), Triple S, Flaim and Wait for It all resumed at their usual time of 10.50 a.m. and will meet at this time throughout the coming session. This Sunday the minister will conduct worship at 11 a.m. The Boys’ Brigade enrolment for Junior and Company Sections only will take place again tomorrow (Friday) between 6.30-7.30 p.m. The Anchor Boys will resume on Tuesday, September 9. The Girls’ Brigade sections have now resumed at the usual times, Juniors and Brigadiers on a Wednesday at 6.15 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. respectively and the Explorers on a Thursday at 6.15 p.m. The weekly coffee morning time resumes today (Thursday) from 10-11.30 a.m. in the Rankine Hall. The new session of the Guild begins this Monday at 7.30 p.m. in the Rankine Hall. The first meeting will take the format of a short Service of Dedication led by our minister and this will be followed by an information time and chat. A warm welcome is extended to former and new members as we look this session at the theme ‘A World to Serve’. Door duty this Sunday will be by Sandra Smillie, Willie Tomlinson, Charles Lees, Jim and Maralyn Stirling and Irene Cameron. The crèche at 10.50 a.m. will be manned by Gillian Beaton, Nancy Lees and Elspeth McCallum.
