Credit Union

Savings are safe with Falkirk District Credit Union and low cost loans are available once regular savings established. Anyone who lives or works in the area within the boundary of Falkirk Council can join, junior savers welcome. If you are interested in volunteering at all please call or ask at collection. The annual general meeting is on Thursday, January 29 at 6.45 p.m. within Youth and Community Wing, Abbots Road, Grangemouth.

Buggy Group

BraveHeart Walks

Friendly Bonnybridge walkers leave from the Royal Hotel at 10.30 a.m. You have a choice of an hour walk or a slower 30 minute walk amongst many marvelous paths. Come along and meet our Walk Leaders and some welcoming faces, where you can enjoy a chat over tea and cake in the cafe afterwords. For more information please call (01324) 673703.

Christmas Fayre

The PTA of St Joseph’s Primary School has arranged a Christmas Fayre in the school on Friday, November 28 from 6.30-9 p.m. Come along and get a Christmas bargain. All welcome.

Citizens Advice

Denny & Dunipace Citizens Advice Bureau now provides an information and advice service at Bonnybridge Community Centre on a Wednesday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. each week. If you would like an appointment to speak to a CAB Adviser, please contact Bonnybridge Community Centre on (01324) 503290.

Parish Church

A warm welcome is extended to join with us at the Morning Service at Bonnybridge St Helen’s Parish Church on Sunday at 11 a.m. Prayer Time takes place in the vestry at 10.30/10.45 a.m., and is open to all. Sunday School and Youth Group meet the Church Hall at 10.50 a.m. The Monthly Soup Sunday will be served in the Church Hall following the Morning Service and is open to all. Ladies Fellowship meet in the Church HallTuesday, December 2, at 7 p.m with Jean Fettes. The Church Christmas Fayre will be held in the Church Hall Saturday, December 6, 10 a.m. till 1 p.m.

Make It Happen

The local meeting of the Make It Happen Forum for over-50s will be held in Bonnybridge Community Centre, Bonnybridge on Monday, December 1 from 10.30a.m.-12.30 p.m. The Forum is a great way for over-50s to get involved, discuss ideas and concerns and to have a real voice in the community. Winter is coming so this month we have speakers from Falkirk Council and Home Energy Scotland - they will explain the advice and support that is available to help you increase your income, cut your fuel bills and make your home warmer and more comfortable. Masonic News

There was a large turnout of members and visitors at the Regular Meeting held in Lodge Dolphin No. 911 on Thursday, November 20. One candidate received the First Degree from the RWM Brother Craig Lamont and his team. The next meeting will be a Second Degree at 7.30 p.m. on Thursday, December 4. This will be the AGM and a ballot will be held.

Coffee Morning

The 27th Bonnybridge Beavers, Cubs and Scouts are holding a coffee morning, raffle, bottle sale, books/toys and games stall at St Helen’s Parish Church on Saturday, November 29 from 10 a.m. to noon. Everyone is welcome.
