Parish Church

A warm welcome is extended to the Sunday service at 11am. From Monday, July 14 to Saturday, July 18 the Summer Club meets in the church hall each day from 1.45-4pm. All primary school children are invited to attend and enjoy games, crafts, stories, dancing and of course loads of tuck. Admission is £1 per day. Golden Milestones week takes place in the church hall. On Tuesday, July 28 an evening dinner and entertainment takes place at 6pm. On Wednesday, July 29 a ‘Cream tea with a Swing’ takes place at 2pm and on Friday, July 31 an evening with supper and blessed bingo is at 7pm. Entry to these three events are free and by ticket only. Tickets are available after the morning service on Sunday, or call the minister at the manse on (01324) 874807. These events are being supported by Falkirk Council.

Bowling Club

Many thanks to Jamie Hornall of Lightways for their continued sponsorship of the annual Tom Horn pairs competition which was won by T. Harris and M. Harris. Runners-up were J. Henry and J. Hunter. Well done and all the best to the two bowl pairs, triples and rink who all won through to the County Finals this weekend at Borestone. The winners of last weeks bunnets night were J. Cassidy, T. Letson, J. McAlorum and J. Dunsmore. New members welcome.

Line Dancing

The regular Tuesday class at St Helen’s Church hall will for this week only meet in the Broompark Centre, Denny, from noon-1pm.
