Parish Church

A warm invitation is extended to join the Sunday service at 11 a.m. Prayer Time is open to all in the vestry from 10.30 to 10.45 a.m. Sunday School and Youth Group resumes in the church hall at 10.50 a.m. Ladies Fellowship welcomes everyone to their first meeting of the New Year on January 13 at 7 p.m, in the church hall, Geoff Baillie is the guest speaker.

Citizens Advice

Denny and Dunipace Citizens Advice Bureau provides an information and advice service at Bonnybridge Community Centre each Wednesday from 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. each week. If you would like an appointment to speak to a CAB Adviser, call Bonnybridge Community Centre on (01324) 503290.

Bowling Club

Bonnybridge Bowling Club AGM will be held in the club on Tuesday, February 10 at 7 p.m. The Veterans section annual meeting will be held on Monday, February 16 at 2 p.m. and the Ladies section annual meeting will be held in the club on February at 7 p.m. A good turnout is expected at all meetings.

Masonic News

More than 200 members and visitors enjoyed the installation meeting held in Lodge Dolphin No. 911 on Thursday, December 18. The new RWM Brother Ross Hardie and his team were overwhelmed by the numbers in attendance. The next meeting will be a Third Degree by the office-bearers of Cumbernauld St. Andrew’s Lodge No. 199 at 7.30 p.m. tomorrow (Friday)> The lodge will visit Lodge Denny No. 176 tonight (Thursday) to carry out a Second Degree. The Senior Member’s Dinner will take place at 4 p.m. on Sunday, January 11.

W.R.I. News

The January meeting of the institute will take place on Monday, January 12, at 7.15 p.m. in the Masonic Hall, Bonnybridge. The speaker will be a representative from Citizens’ Advice Bureau.

Braveheart

Friendly Bonnybridge walkers leave from the Royal Hotel at 10.30 a.m. You have a choice of an hour walk or a slower 30 minute walk amongst many marvelous paths. Come along and meet our Walk Leaders and some welcoming faces, where you can enjoy a chat over tea and cake in the cafe afterwords. For more information please call (01324) 673703.
