Community Council

The next meeting of the Community Council meets in Bonnybridge Community Centre on Tuesday, January 27. All welcome. If anyone would like to add an agenda item please email bonnybridgecommunitycouncil@gmail.com.

Parish Church

A warm welcome is extended to everyone to join the Sunday worship at 11 a.m. Prayer time is open to all and is held in the Vestry from 10.30-10.45 a.m. Sunday School and Youth Group meets in the church hall at 10.50 a.m. prior to the morning service. This Sunday a soup lunch will be served in the hall after the morning service. Sunday is the deadline for articles for the March newsletter. Tuesday morning group meet in the hall for tea and coffee from 10 a.m. with a short service at 11 a.m. The Ladies fellowship meet on Tuesday on Tuesday at 7 p.m. and a warm welcome is extended to all to join them at their open night. Good Companions Group meet in the hall next Friday at 7 p.m.

Masonic News

There was a fair turnout at the regular meeting held in Lodge Dolphin last Thursday when one candidate received the first degree by the RWM Brother Ross Hardie and his team. There will be an emergency first degree by the office-bearers of Lodge Callendar No. 588 tonight (Thursday) at 7.30 p.m.

Citizens Advice

Denny & Dunipace Citizens Advice Bureau provides an information and advice service at Bonnybridge Community Centre on a Wednesday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. each week. If you would like an appointment to speak to a CAB Adviser, please contact Bonnybridge Community Centre on (01324) 503290.

Historical Society

The agm of Greenhill Historical Society will be held in Bonnybridge Library at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 6.

Braveheart Walks

Bonnybridge walkers leave from the Royal Hotel at 10.30 a.m. every Wednesday. You have a choice of an hour walk or a slower 30 minute walk amongst many marvelous paths. Come along and meet our Walk Leaders and some welcoming faces, where you can enjoy a chat over tea and cake in the cafe afterwords. For more information call (01324) 673703.

Buggy Group

The Bonny strollers buggy group meets tomorrow (Friday) 1.15 p.m. at Bonnybridge Health Centre, Larbert Road, Bonnybridge. All welcome. All walks are free. For more information call (01324) 504556.

Line Dancing

Next class takes place on Tuesday in St Helen’s church hall from noon-1 p.m. Beginners and improvers welcome.

Thursday Club

The Thursday Club meets in Bonnybridge Community Centre today (Thursday) from 1-3 p.m. for a Scots afternoon. All welcome and please bring your own cup.
