Parish Church

A warm welcome is extended to everyone to join us at our Sunday Morning Service at 11 a.m. Prayer Time takes place in the vestry 10.30 to 10.45 a.m. All welcome. Sunday School and Youth Group resumes after the summer break in the church hall at 10.50 a.m. Tuesday Morning Group resume their meetings 10.30 a.m. for tea and coffee, followed by a short service of worship.

Braveheart Walks

Friendly Bonnybridge walkers leave from the Royal Hotel at 10.30 a.m. with a choice of an hour walk or a slower 30 minute walk. Come along and meet Walk Leaders and some welcoming faces, where you can enjoy a chat over tea and cake in the cafe afterwords. For more information please call (01324) 673703.

Step Forth

It’s the Bonny Strollers’ fifth birthday in September and our first Bonny strollers will be off to school. To celebrate. we would like to ask all our mums and wee ones to a party at the Wheel on Saturday, September 13 from 2.30 to 4.30 p.m. Would be great to see everyone.

Buggy Group

Carpet Bowling

Carpet bowling begins at Bonnybridge Community Centre on Monday, September 1 with the annual general meeting at 12.15 p.m. Please bring your slippers or bowling shoes and a cup. All new members very welcome, call (01324) 879771 or 812943.

Line Dancing

Next class takes place on Tuesday in St Helen’s church hall from noon to 1 p.m. Beginners and improvers welcome.

Credit Union

Savings are safe with Falkirk District Credit Union and low cost loans are available once regular savings established. Anyone who lives or works in the area within the boundary of Falkirk Council can join, junior savers welcome. St Joseph’s Church

St Joseph’s Catholic Church are having a Parish Mission which starts this Friday, August 22 and lasts until Sunday, August 31 to which everyone is invited to attend. The Mission will be led by members of the Institute of the Incarnate Word, a religious order which is based in Italy, and will comprise of clergy, seminarians and religious sisters. There will be a Mission talk taking place each evening in the church at 7 p.m. except on Saturdays when it will be held at the end of the vigil Mass (5.30 p.m.). On Sunday, August 24 after the 11 a.m. Mass there will be a family barbeque and fun day; on Tuesday, August 26 there will be exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from after 9.30 a.m. Mass until the Mission talk in the evening; on Thursday, August 28 at 4 p.m. there will be a football match between the seminarians and the altar boys and another match against the youth of the parish and seminarians and on Friday, August 29 a family ceilidh will be held after the Mission talk. WASP

Wider Access to School Project annual registration is Thursday, August 28, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Denny High School Assembly Hall and from 6.30-8.30 p.m. in the WASP Project. Check our website for class schedule, and if you can’t manage, print off one of our Registration forms from the website and mail in your £6.50 plus any class fees to WASP, Denny High School, Herbertshire Park, Denny FK6 6EE. Greenhill & District WRI

The annual coffee evening will take place in the Masonic Temple on Wednesday, August 27 at 7 p.m. There will be a bottle stall and entertainment. Tickets are available at the door.

Citizens Advice
