THE body found in the River Leny by police divers on Tuesday has now been confirmed to be that of missing Denny man David Donnelly.
The 37-year-old went missing on Friday, August 19, while on a camping trip with friends in the Trossachs.
A special underwater police team found a body a Tuesday which has now formally been identified.
His family have been informed.
A post mortem will now be carried out and the investigation into the circumstance surrounding his death continues. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
