Firefighters sped to a blaze at a petrochemical plant on Sunday morning.
The incident, which happend at BP's Kinneil site, just off Bo'ness Road, Grangemouth, saw four appliances from Bo'ness fire station respond just before 9 a.m.
Central Scotland Fire and Rescue Service personnel worked alongside BP's own emergency team and soon had the blaze, reportedly caused when a spark ignited, under control.
No one was injured in the fire, which sent a plume of thick black smoke high into the air before it was extinguished.
A fire and rescue service spokesman said the incident was relatively minor and the plant was now operating normally.
