Braveheart Walks

Devoted Dawson walkers meet every Wednesday outside Carron Co-op main entrance to start their walk at 10.30 a.m., finishing an hour later in Greggs for tea and a cake. Parish Church

On Sunday the worship in Bainsford Parish Church is at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Andrew Sarle conducting the service with the theme being “Are You Ready”. Tea and coffee will be served in the hall after the service. The themes for the following services are: Sunday, October 19, ‘Caesar and God’, Sunday, October 26, “Wrong Love”.

Job Club

Every Wednesday from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. in the Dawson Centre, there is a Job Drop in Club which has been in operation for nearly three years with free access to Job Centre web site, help with CV, benefits advice and support. Fruit Barra

Fridays, 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. in the Dawson Cafe (which is located in the Dawson Centre). Come along and get fresh fruit and veg from your local farmer at reasonable prices. Healthy start vouchers will be accepted. For any information contact Michelle on (01324) 501470.

Country dancing

Take the floor at Bainsford Parish Church hall, Smith Street for Scottish Dancing each Thursday at 7.30 p.m. All welcome.

Community Council

The next meeting of the Langlees Bainsford and Newcarron Community Council will be on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Bainsford Community Centre.
